Understand organisations, schools and accounts
Account policy · Reviewed 1 November 2026 · TaleemLink product & support team
An organisation is one TaleemLink client. It can operate one school or a group of schools.
Step by step
- Use one professional account for approved duties within one organisation. A principal who teaches can have both duties on that account.
- If you work for two unrelated organisations, use their separate professional accounts. The same person or email address does not join those clients.
- Use a separate personal parent account if you are also a parent or guardian.
- A personal parent account can accept invitations from unrelated organisations. Each organisation must separately verify the child relationships it grants.
- Removing a parent’s access to one organisation must not remove access granted by another. Removing one staff school duty does not grant or change other duties.
- Check the selected organisation, school and role whenever switching is available. Never assume a school-group relationship grants access to every school.
Expected outcome
Professional and personal access remain separate, with clear client boundaries.
Availability & important notes
This is the agreed product access policy. Invitation acceptance and organisation/school switching screens are still being implemented for production.
